Unboxing the EPSON Perfection V850 Pro Scanner

Unboxing the EPSON Perfection V850 Pro Scanner

A few days ago, I was able to unbox and try out the new Epson Perfection V850 Pro scanner. I’d been waiting months to get my hands on this one, so naturally my expectations were pretty high. After I opened it up and tried it out, though, I found that it exceeded even my own lofty expectations! And since I knew some of you were looking forward to seeing this one as much as I was, I thought it would be fun to do an unboxing video.

Introduction

I was very happy to receive the opportunity to review EPSON's newest scanner, the Perfection V850 Pro. I have been using scanners for many years and I am always looking for a new and better option for my business needs. When I received this device in the mail, I was really excited to see what it could do. In this blog post, you will find out my impressions of this scanner and whether or not it is right for you.
The first thing that I noticed with this scanner is how modern it looks on my desk; it has a sleek and dark look that is quite pleasing to look at.

What's in the box

When I opened my new scanner, I was a little taken back by how large it was. I mean, it's a good thing, but just something to be aware of if you're looking for something that will fit on your desk. There are lots of buttons and icons on the scanner making it easy to use right out of the box. This is a great feature for someone who doesn't know much about scanners or printing. Once you get used to all the options there are, this is a pretty powerful scanning tool and worth every penny.

Setting up your scanner

Installation was simple and quick, following these steps:

1. Install the included software on your PC.

2. Connect your scanner to your PC with a USB cable (not included).

3. Turn on your scanner by pressing the power button, which is on the back of the device.

4. Place your documents face down in front of the glass bed and press Scan.

5. Wait for scan to complete and remove document from scanning bed after prompted by scanner software interface.

6. Press Save or Recall to save scanned documents as an image file (.tif), PDF file (.pdf), or searchable text (.txt) file, depending on what type of document you are scanning, like a receipt or document with handwritten text.

Software installation

The driver installation was pretty easy and straightforward, but it did take some time to download. Once installed, I was able to use the scanner right away. The scanning process is very simple and you can choose from a few settings to find one that suits your needs. I would recommend this scanner for anyone who frequently does large scale scanning projects, as it is much more efficient than a flatbed scanner.

scanning tips and tricks

Scanning a document with the scanner is as simple as inserting it into the feeder. However, there are some tricks to make your documents scan more quickly and accurately. First, always adjust your document settings so that they match what you're scanning. If you're scanning an old black and white newspaper, you might want to change your settings to black and white or grayscale instead of color, for example. You can also try rotating or flipping your document before scanning in order to get rid of any glare on the page that might slow down the scanning process. The best way to scan anything is by using a flatbed scanner, but if all you have is this high-quality sheetfed scanner from Epson then follow these tips for faster scans.

conclusion

The Epson Perfection V850 Pro is a great scanner for anyone looking for a professional-level device. The software, speed and ease of use make it an excellent choice for people who need to scan large volumes of documents. I would recommend this scanner to anyone in search of a more advanced scanning tool than those found in your standard office supply store.
